Film

I first produced a movie in 2012. At that time, it was just a stop motion, some photos that I assembled into a motion object. But just from that point, I started studying videography. In 2012, I tried to make a series on YouTube called Shocking Sunday, and it looks pretty crappy when I look at it today. It only lasted five episodes until 2013. In 2013, I was still studying videography, especially editing. I also still have time to make other videos using traditional and keyframe-based animation techniques and several other methods that combine the two. At the end of 2013, I was asked to join the film club at my school.

Production

2014

R is one of the films I wrote that was inspired by the music video by Superman Is Dead - Belati Tuhan. At that time, there was a lot of development going on in my hometown.

Basically, this film only depicts a metaphor of a rebellion that will never go out in maintaining the balance of the environment. It will continuously slide, procreate. Because at its root this is God's will.

2015

Rokumpet or Hide and Seek again describes the impact of development. In this case, densely populated villages have succeeded in eliminating kids' playing space. This collides with other interests that often occur in our social society. And in the end, there will be those who succumb; the weak.

I write the script but then together with Adhini Adha, who can take better of the acting stuff, to direct the whole film. We took this film material in just 3 hours. It is challenging for us to condition the field and also the actors who are still children.

Appreciation

In the span of 2014 - 2018 I was involved in the film appreciation agenda several times, especially those in the local sphere. In 2014 I was in charge of being a projectionist for the film festival event held by the film club of the Smansabara Film School. Likewise in 2015 where I was responsible as director for a similar event. Together with the Godong Gedang Banjarnegara, I am also often invited to be involved in exhibition events held by them.
